Registry and archives
We are a government agency subject to the principle of public access to official documents. This gives you the right to access official documents that are public and held by us.
Incoming correspondence, both traditional and electronic, is regarded as official documentation. Our registrar records and archives these public documents.
The principle of public access entitles you to access official documents that are not classified. In some cases, access may be restricted due to confidentiality. If you wish to access a public document, please contact our registrar.

Digital documents
Documents stored electronically are sent free of charge via email, provided the work required does not exceed 15 minutes.
Paper copies and scanned documents
A fee is charged for paper copies and scanned documents exceeding ten pages. The first nine pages are free of charge. The cost for ten pages is SEK 50, and each additional page costs SEK 2.
Audio recordings
The fee for copies of audio recordings is SEK 120 per USB, DVD, or CD.
Requests taking longer than 15 minutes
If it takes more than 15 minutes to prepare the documents, SGI will charge SEK 125 for every additional 15-minute period begun. The first 15 minutes are always free of charge.
Postage
Any applicable postage costs will be added.
