Ten national risk areas have been identified

3 June 2021, 11:46

In a new report, the Swedish Geotechnical Institute (SGI) and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) have identified ten areas with climate related risks for landslide, flooding and shore erosion.

The work has focused on identifying larger cross-regional areas with
complex risks where cooperation is needed. The aim has been to provide national
overview. The report proposes a number of necessary measures to create better
conditions for climate adaptation and thereby reduce the risks associated with climate
change.

The report is in Swedish but has an English summary.
